RESEARCH
Our multi-method research program analyses media patterns and community perspectives to create traditional academic and public facing research reports. Our research program began in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota -- an effort funded by the Knight Foundation. We are currently expanding this research efforts to communities in Black midwestern communities.
Source Code database coming soon
In 2022 and 2023, we asked Black Midwesterners who they trusted the most. Then, we reached out to each one to learn more. The Source Code Database will serve as a singular space for exploring that data in an accessible way. Stay tuned for further developments as we test this resource!

OUR MULTI-METHOD APPROACH INCLUDES
Computational, quantitative and qualitative content analyses of online news, content and social media networks to identify spaces for narrative improvement in news and social media
